Brussels Beer Challenge 2023 – Last call to brewers for participation

The 2023 edition of the Brussels Beer Challenge is approaching. This year, the city of Turnhout will host the contest from 29 to 31 October in the prestigious ‘Paterspand’ monastery.

During three days, a panel of 100 renowned international judges will assess the 2,000 competing beers. These will be grouped in consistent flights based on their origin, typicity and style and will be judged according to strict, objective criteria. The finest beers in each category will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.

Over time the contest, which took place in different cities in Belgium, has given a unique opportunity for brewers from across the globe to compete with the finest Belgian beers. The awards are disclosed after the contest providing breweries with a recognised quality seal and an international promotional tool towards consumers and distributors.
